Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender/Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional customer service while expertly preparing and serving beverages and food in a fast-paced environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills, develop your sales abilities, and thrive in a dynamic environment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit.</li><li>Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS or Shift4 POS, ensuring quick and precise transactions.</li><li>Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations.</li><li>Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering and basic math calculations for bills and tips.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tables, and service stations in compliance with food handling standards.</li><li>Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales while promoting special offerings or promotions.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy nights at the nightclub or banquet events.</li><li>Follow all food safety protocols related to food handling, catering, and retail math calculations for inventory control.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, preferably with fine dining or nightclub experience.</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS is highly desirable.</li><li>Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during peak hours.</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and the ability to engage guests effectively.</li><li>Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.</li><li>Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, retail math calculations, and billing purposes.</li><li>Previous banquet experience or catering background is a plus but not required.</li><li>Experience working in the food industry with retail math proficiency is beneficial.
