Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS or Shift4 POS, ensuring quick and precise transactions.
- Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering and basic math calculations for bills and tips.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tables, and service stations in compliance with food handling standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales while promoting special offerings or promotions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy nights at the nightclub or banquet events.
- Follow all food safety protocols related to food handling, catering, and retail math calculations for inventory control.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, preferably with fine dining or nightclub experience.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and the ability to engage guests effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, retail math calculations, and billing purposes.
- Previous banquet experience or catering background is a plus but not required.
