About the RoleWe're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager Intern to support our project management team on a part-time basis. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience coordinating projects from concept through completion, working closely with project managers, designers, and clients.Candidates with a background or coursework in architecture or interior design are strongly preferred, as this role will involve close collaboration with our design and technical teams.What You'll Do<ul><li>Assist project managers with scheduling, tracking deliverables, and maintaining project timelines</li><li>Help prepare and organize project documentation, submittals, and specifications</li><li>Coordinate communication between internal teams, vendors, and consultants</li><li>Track budgets, purchase orders, and invoices under PM supervision</li><li>Attend site visits and client/team meetings, taking notes and follow-up action items</li><li>Support the creation of presentation materials, mood boards, or drawing sets as needed</li><li>Help maintain project files, drawings, and digital project management tools</li></ul>What We're Looking For<ul><li>Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred, not required)</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li>Comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines</li><li>Clear written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Office/Google Workspace; experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus</li><li>Eagerness to learn project management fundamentals in a design/build environment</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team</li></ul>Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hourWork Location: In person

Part-Time Assistant Project Manager (Intern)

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented design architect to join the Goodland Pickleball team on a part-time basis. In this hybrid role, you will help us shape the ultimate player experience by designing dynamic pickleball facilities, inviting clubhouses, and engaging community spaces. This position offers flexibility while allowing you to leave your mark on the fast-growing world of pickleball infrastructure.Duties<ul><li>Design State-of-the-Art Spaces: Develop and refine architectural designs, sketches, and plans for premium indoor/outdoor pickleball courts, viewing areas, and pro shops.</li><li>Optimize the Player Experience: Collaborate with team members to create spatial layouts that prioritize player flow, optimal lighting, and acoustic management.</li><li>Draft &amp; Present: Prepare compelling presentations, detailed drawings, and comprehensive design documentation for new Goodland locations and facility upgrades.</li><li>Ensure Compliance: Ensure all designs meet client needs, local building codes, sustainability standards, and official sport-specific dimensional requirements.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proficiency in project scheduling software to coordinate multiple project timelines effectively</li><li>Strong expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D (Rhinoceros 3D), Grasshopper 3D, ArchiCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite for drafting and visualization</li><li>Experience with construction estimating tools to develop accurate budgets and cost analyses</li><li>Knowledge of construction management practices including contracts administration and site supervision</li><li>Skilled in negotiation to facilitate agreements with clients, contractors, suppliers, and consultants</li><li>Familiarity with Bluebeam for digital document review and collaboration workflows</li><li>Ability to manage complex projects from conception through completion while maintaining attention to detail</li><li>Understanding of interior design principles relevant to sports facilities such as lighting, acoustics, flooring options, and spectator amenities</li><li>Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams</li><li>Experience with renovation projects as well as new construction within the sports or recreational sector</li></ul>Why Join Us:<ul><li>Flexible Hybrid Schedule: Work in a way that fits your lifestyle.</li><li>Impactful Projects: Play a direct role in building community hubs and expanding the Goodland Pickleball footprint.</li><li>Fun Work Environment: Join a collaborative, high-energy team that values creativity (and maybe a little friendly competition on the courts).</li></ul>Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hourExpected hours: 20.0 per weekWork Location: In person
