GRACE is looking for a Long term 4th Grade Substitute Teacher at St. Bernard Catholic School!This position is responsible for fostering a safe, welcoming, positive learning environment for all students and co-workers and providing lessons that meet or exceed state, local, and school standards.Essential FunctionsTeach students scheduled material in their teacher's absenceUtilize classroom management skills to keep students on taskHandle any student outbursts according to school procedureProvide a safe and effective learning environment for studentsWork with staff in the building to keep students on scheduleQualifications and Education RequirementsBachelor&rsquo;s Degree or higher from an accredited college or universitySubmission to a legal background checkExcels in communicationPhysical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, sit, and frequently bend or twist at the neck and trunk. The employee will use the hands to feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee must occasionally exert or lift up to 40 pounds.
