Facilities Manager &ndash; Wedding VenueJob OverviewWe are seeking a reliable, skilled, and proactive Facilities Manager to oversee the upkeep, appearance, and functionality of our wedding venue property. This hands-on role is responsible for general maintenance, repairs, preventative care, and ensuring the venue is always presented at a high standard for weddings and special events.The ideal candidate is dependable, takes pride in quality work, solves problems independently, and understands the importance of creating a beautiful and well-maintained environment for guests and clients.Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the venue and property</li><li>Interior and exterior painting and touch-ups</li><li>Light carpentry and basic repairs</li><li>Basic plumbing repairs and troubleshooting</li><li>HVAC / mini-split maintenance or repairs (if qualified)</li><li>Light electrical work such as fixtures, switches, outlets, and troubleshooting</li><li>Pressure washing buildings, patios, walkways, and exterior surfaces</li><li>Maintain venue appearance, cleanliness, and readiness for events</li><li>Inspect property regularly and identify repair needs before they become larger issues</li><li>Coordinate with outside contractors when specialized work is required</li><li>Assist with event setup or venue readiness when needed</li><li>Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies</li><li>Respond promptly to urgent repair needs</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Experience in general maintenance, facilities, property maintenance, or related work</li><li>Working knowledge of painting, carpentry, plumbing, and basic electrical</li><li>HVAC experience is a plus</li><li>Ability to use common tools and maintenance equipment safely</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently</li><li>Reliable transportation and punctuality</li><li>Ability to lift, carry, climb ladders, and perform physical work</li><li>Attention to detail and pride in workmanship</li><li>Positive attitude and professional demeanor</li></ul>Schedule<ul><li>Full-time or Part-time (depending on candidate)</li><li>Flexible schedule with some weekend availability preferred during event season</li></ul>Compensation<ul><li>Competitive pay based on experience and skill level</li></ul>Why Join Us<ul><li>Beautiful wedding venue environment</li><li>Variety of work and meaningful responsibility</li><li>Opportunity to take ownership of the property&rsquo;s appearance and performance</li><li>Supportive team atmosphere</li></ul>How to ApplyPlease send your resume, relevant experience, and a brief introduction.
