We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and proactive Facilities Manager to oversee the upkeep, appearance, and functionality of our wedding venue property. This hands-on role is responsible for general maintenance, repairs, preventative care, and ensuring the venue is always presented at a high standard for weddings and special events.

The ideal candidate is dependable, takes pride in quality work, solves problems independently, and understands the importance of creating a beautiful and well-maintained environment for guests and clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the venue and property
• Interior and exterior painting and touch-ups
• Light carpentry and basic repairs
• Basic plumbing repairs and troubleshooting
• HVAC / mini-split maintenance or repairs (if qualified)
• Light electrical work such as fixtures, switches, outlets, and troubleshooting
• Pressure washing buildings, patios, walkways, and exterior surfaces
• Maintain venue appearance, cleanliness, and readiness for events
• Inspect property regularly and identify repair needs before they become larger issues
• Coordinate with outside contractors when specialized work is required
• Assist with event setup or venue readiness when needed
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies
• Respond promptly to urgent repair needs

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance, facilities, property maintenance, or related work
• Working knowledge of painting, carpentry, plumbing, and basic electrical
• HVAC experience is a plus
• Ability to use common tools and maintenance equipment safely
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Reliable transportation and punctuality
• Ability to lift, carry, climb ladders, and perform physical work
• Attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor

Schedule

• Full-time or Part-time (depending on candidate)
• Flexible schedule with some weekend availability preferred during event season

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
