Our dedicated team includes 14 physicians specializing in internal medicine, pediatrics, and family medicine, along with 5 advanced practice providers, all committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care. As our practice continues to grow, we are excited to welcome another new provider this year to better serve our patients and community.We&rsquo;re currently seeking a Registered or Certified Medical Assistant with strong attention to detail and a patient-focused mindset to support our providers with clinical and administrative duties. This is a hands-on role where you&rsquo;ll work closely with both patients and providers, playing a vital part in coordinating care, handling clinical phone calls, and supportive clinical documentation.What You&rsquo;ll Do<ul><li>Room patients and prepare exam rooms for visits</li><li>Take and document vital signs and patient histories in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)</li><li>Assist providers during exams and procedures as needed</li><li>Administer medications and immunizations as directed by providers</li><li>Support incoming clinical calls by documenting requests or concerns and routing them to the care teams</li><li>Respond to patient calls, gather clinical information, and relay provider instructions</li><li>Maintain accurate and timely charting in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)</li><li>Facilitate electronic prescriptions and medication prior authorizations under provider guidance</li><li>Assist with appointment scheduling and general administrative tasks</li><li>Ensure a clean, safe, and professional environment in compliance with HIPAA and clinic policies</li><li>Foster a positive and compassionate patient experience</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program</li><li>Prior clinical experience strongly preferred</li><li>Professional communication skills&mdash;both verbal and written</li><li>Comfort with EHR systems and typical clinic workflows</li><li>Strong organizational skills and a collaborative attitude</li></ul>Ready to Apply?Please contact: Catherine Abdoo via email: cabdoo@gvmsonline.comPay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Disability insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
