Company Granite City Paving is a family owned asphalt paving company located in the St. Cloud area that specializes in but is not limited too: residential driveways, parking lots, walking/bike paths, and asphalt patching.We are now hiring Full-Time/Seasonal Screed operator with paving experience. Competitive wages based upon prior experience. Positions and responsibilities detailed below:Paver/Screed Operator Responsibilities<ul><li>Must be able to operator paver and/or screed on paver.</li><li>Make normal adjustments to get proposed depth, width and slope of asphalt mat.</li><li>Assist in setup, loading/unloading, and maintenance of equipment required for daily operations.</li><li>Inspect equipment for mechanical/safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.</li><li>Assist grading/paving crew with various duties such as; shoveling, raking, running wheelbarrow, and safely backing/dumping trucks into paver.</li><li>Report defects, accidents or violations if they arise.</li><li>Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.</li><li>Current driver's license that meets state requirements; CDL Class A or Class B is preferred but not required</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment and assist co-workers with other duties</li><li>Ability to work long hours and occasional weekends as needed</li><li>Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Minimum 2 year experience as a screed operator or paver operator.</li></ul>Please Apply Via: https://granitecitypavingllc.com/job-opportunity/Job Type: Full-timePay: $25.00 - $40.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have reasonable/reliable means of transportation to and from the jobsite?</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Paving Equipment Operators: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Driver's License (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
