Granite Creek Health &amp; Rehabilitation Center is looking for an experienced Staffing Coordinator to join our team!Requirements:<ul><li>1+ years of experience as a Staffing Coordinator in a clinical environment</li><li>Experience with healthcare staffing applications like Covr</li></ul>Compensation: $50,000 year with a bonus structure &amp; benefitsJob Description:<ul><li>Manages the daily, weekly, and monthly schedules of nursing staff.</li><li>Consults with nursing department supervisors concerning staffing and scheduling needs.</li><li>Adjusts schedules according to budgetary constraints, census fluctuations, call-ins, and pre-planned leaves of absence.</li><li>Responds to scheduling changes in a timely manner.</li><li>Keeps meticulous attendance records and assists with the progressive disciplinary process if staff members demonstrate excessive absences and/or tardies.</li><li>Contacts staff members by phone to communicate scheduling needs or changes.</li><li>Responds to employee calls regarding scheduling issues, and prepares written correspondence as necessary.</li><li>Communicates with Unit Managers and the Director of Nursing regarding floor orientation scheduling for newly hired employees in the nursing department.</li><li>Checks time clock punch records against master schedules and notes the appropriate changes.</li><li>Keeps and files daily schedule and lobby hours for 18 continuous months.</li><li>Maintains lobby hours to include PPD, projected and actual staffing hours for each shift.</li><li>Signs time correction forms for events such as missing meal periods or forgetting to clock in/out.</li><li>Maintains daily tardy and absenteeism calendars for employee performance appraisals, reporting to the Director of Nursing Services all issues.</li><li>Works with Human Resources and Director of Nursing Services when scheduling modified duty employees in accordance with work restrictions and facility policy.</li><li>Creates and upholds an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and a calm and cheerful environment.</li><li>Arranges temporary staffing when necessary.</li><li>Utilizes computer software to prepare, change and update the master schedule.</li></ul>Call or text Dakota with any questions!
