This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in the food and beverage industry while working in a lively, fast-paced setting.Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and care</li><li>Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards across the caf&eacute;, including food handling and preparation</li><li>Provide friendly, attentive customer service to enhance guest satisfaction and encourage repeat visits</li><li>Manage cash handling duties, including cashiering and basic math calculations for transactions</li><li>Restock supplies, manage inventory levels, and ensure the caf&eacute; remains organized and inviting</li><li>Support food service operations by assisting with food preparation and serving as needed</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven barista experience with a strong understanding of coffee brewing techniques and beverage presentation</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for seamless sales processing</li><li>Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service</li><li>Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities</li><li>Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling, and proper sanitation practices</li><li>Ability to perform retail math accurately for cash handling, sales tracking, and inventory management</li><li>Experience in the food industry or caf&eacute; environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential</li></ul>Pay: From $12.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Paid training</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
