Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and care
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards across the café, including food handling and preparation
• Provide friendly, attentive customer service to enhance guest satisfaction and encourage repeat visits
• Manage cash handling duties, including cashiering and basic math calculations for transactions
• Restock supplies, manage inventory levels, and ensure the café remains organized and inviting
• Support food service operations by assisting with food preparation and serving as needed

Skills

• Proven barista experience with a strong understanding of coffee brewing techniques and beverage presentation
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for seamless sales processing
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling, and proper sanitation practices
• Ability to perform retail math accurately for cash handling, sales tracking, and inventory management
• Experience in the food industry or café environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
