Job Description: Billing and Contracts Manager (Civil Engineer)Position: Billing and Contracts Manager (Civil Engineer) Experience: 10-20 years Department: Engineering / ConstructionRole Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Billing and Contracts Manager with a strong background in civil engineering and construction management to manage all aspects of billing, contract administration, and financial tracking for large-scale civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have significant experience overseeing billing procedures, ensuring accurate contract execution, and collaborating with project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Contract Administration:</li><li>Manage the preparation, review, and negotiation of contracts for civil engineering projects.</li><li>Ensure compliance with legal, company, and client specifications.</li><li>Maintain and manage contract documentation, variations, amendments, and compliance with terms and conditions.</li><li>Liaise with clients, contractors, and legal teams to resolve contract-related issues and disputes.</li><li>Billing and Financial Management:</li><li>Oversee and manage the timely submission of progress bills, final bills, and claims.</li><li>Ensure accurate tracking of project costs and revenue through monthly and quarterly reporting.</li><li>Verify the accuracy of project-related invoices, including material and labor costs.</li><li>Coordinate with project managers and teams to review and validate project progress for billing.</li><li>Prepare and review payment certificates and maintain regular communication with clients and contractors for payments.</li><li>Cost Control and Budgeting:</li><li>Assist in preparing project budgets and forecasts, ensuring accurate cost estimation and tracking.</li><li>Monitor cost variations and address discrepancies between budgeted costs and actual expenditures.</li><li>Ensure all payments are compliant with contractual agreements and timelines.</li><li>Risk Management:</li><li>Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with contracts and billing procedures.</li><li>Provide support for claims and disputes resolution, including cost-related negotiations.</li><li>Reporting and Documentation:</li><li>Prepare and submit detailed reports on contract performance, progress, and billing status.</li><li>Ensure that all project-related financial documentation is accurately recorded and stored.</li><li>Assist in the preparation of monthly/quarterly financial and contract reports to senior management.</li><li>Team Collaboration:</li><li>Work closely with project engineers, procurement teams, and legal teams to ensure timely and accurate billing.</li><li>Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff within the billing and contracts department.</li><li>Collaborate with project managers to evaluate project costs and variations.</li><li>Compliance and Quality Control:</li><li>Ensure all billing practices comply with applicable industry standards, legal requirements, and company policies.</li><li>Conduct audits and assessments to verify adherence to contract specifications and regulations.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Educational Background:</li><li>Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master&rsquo;s Degree is a plus).</li><li>Certifications in Contract Management (e.g., CCM, PMP) would be advantageous.</li><li>Experience:</li><li>10-15 years of experience in the civil engineering and construction industry, specifically in billing, contracts, and project management.</li><li>Proven experience managing contract administration and billing for large-scale civil projects (infrastructure, roads, buildings, etc.).</li><li>Strong understanding of construction cost management, budgeting, and financial forecasting.</li><li>Technical Skills:</li><li>Proficiency in contract management software and financial tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, ERP systems).</li><li>Knowledge of civil engineering processes, project schedules, and construction methods.</li><li>Familiarity with local construction regulations and standards.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;1,200,000.00 - &#8377;1,800,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>total work: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
