Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Teacher to create a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for young children. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives while developing your skills in early childhood education.Responsibilities<ul><li>Plan and execute age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development</li><li>Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence</li><li>Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure safety at all times</li><li>Implement behavior management strategies to foster positive interactions and discipline when necessary</li><li>Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom to support a healthy learning environment</li><li>Assist with diapering, feeding, and basic caregiving needs for infants and toddlers as required</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting or similar settings</li><li>Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices</li><li>Certification in First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire)</li><li>Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus</li><li>Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle diverse behaviors effectively</li><li>Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members</li><li>Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment while maintaining patience and enthusiasm for teaching young children</li></ul>Join us in shaping the future by providing compassionate care and inspiring early learning experiences!Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hourWork Location: In person
