Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people&rsquo;s lives while developing your skills in diverse clinical settings.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility to promote independence and well-being.</li><li>Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately using electronic health record (EHR) systems.</li><li>Support medical teams by preparing patients for procedures, assisting with medical documentation, and ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques.</li><li>Provide specialized care for residents with dementia or Alzheimer&rsquo;s disease, including memory care strategies and behavioral health support.</li><li>Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care in settings like ICU, emergency departments, or post-acute care units.</li><li>Administer medications under supervision and assist with procedures such as catheter care or phlebotomy when qualified.</li><li>Maintain patient safety by using equipment like Hoyer lifts and adhering to infection control protocols in accordance with HIPAA regulations.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in good standing.</li><li>Experience working with diverse populations including seniors, pediatrics, or individuals with disabilities such as developmental or behavioral health needs.</li><li>Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS).</li><li>Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Cerner or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation.</li><li>Prior experience in settings such as long-term care facilities, hospitals (including ICU or trauma centers), hospice or home care environments is highly desirable.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments like urgent care or emergency medicine units.</li><li>Strong communication skills combined with a caring attitude and attention to detail to ensure optimal patient service.
