<div>Green Acres Contracting is looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair our highway construction fleet. Our fleet consists primarily of medium-duty trucks and construction equipment, and we&rsquo;re looking for someone dependable who takes pride in keeping equipment running safely and efficiently.

Skills/Qualifications: 
Shop employees will be expected to lift/handle/install a variety of tools, parts, fasteners, etc. Weights of these items range from almost no weight, for some fasteners, up to 120 pounds, for some brake drums. Lifts include; Ground to waist, waist to ground, ground to shoulder or above, shoulder or above to ground.
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Diagnose and repair diesel trucks and equipment</li><li>
Perform preventative maintenance and inspections</li><li>
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems</li><li>
Maintain service records and work orders</li><li>
Keep shop and tools organized and safe</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>
Experience working on diesel trucks or construction equipment</li><li>
CDL is a plus (not required)</li><li>
Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues independently</li><li>
Strong work ethic and reliability</li></ul>
