Job Title: Licensed Vocational NurseAs a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care across various healthcare settings. Your compassionate approach and clinical expertise will ensure that patients receive the highest quality of care, whether in hospitals, nursing homes, or assisted living facilities. Join our dynamic team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of those you serve!What you&rsquo;ll do<ul><li>Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.</li><li>Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.</li><li>Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.</li><li>Assist with catheterization, tube feeding, and other medical procedures as needed.</li><li>Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness strategies.</li><li>Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.</li><li>Support patients with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer&rsquo;s care, dementia care, and other specialized needs.</li><li>Participate in discharge planning and case management to facilitate smooth transitions of care.</li></ul>Basic qualifications<ul><li>Current LVN license in good standing.</li><li>Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.</li><li>Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Wellsky/Kinnser.</li></ul>Preferred qualifications<ul><li>Experience in critical care, emergency medicine, or acute care settings.</li><li>Familiarity with ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding for accurate medical documentation.</li><li>Background in geriatrics or senior care, including hospice and memory care experience.</li><li>Ability to perform phlebotomy, venipuncture, and administer injections safely.</li></ul>Why you&rsquo;ll love it hereWe are dedicated to fostering a supportive environment where our employees can thrive both personally and professionally.
