Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) of 5-10 years experience to join our team. The candidate must possess a strong understanding of taxation and accounting principles. This position will play a crucial role in preparing tax returns, tax planning, financial reporting and analysis.Candidates should not have a tax/accounting practice of their own.Duties<ul><li>Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, gift, and trust tax returns.</li><li>Perform general accounting tasks, as needed.</li><li>Call tax agencies as needed</li><li>Mentor junior staff members in tax and accounting practices and software usage.</li><li>Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, and Microsoft Excel for efficient financial operations.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proficient in double-entry bookkeeping, debits &amp; credits and payroll processing.</li><li>Demonstrated ability in financial analysis, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, journal entries preparation, and financial statement preparation.</li><li>Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and report presentation.</li><li>Solid understanding of financial concepts, including private equity management and accrual accounting principles.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating a strong independent work ethic.</li></ul>Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hourExpected hours: 40.0 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Work from home</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>tax preparation and accounting: 10 years (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>CPA or EA (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: Remote
