Overview We are seeking a passionate and experienced Daycare Director/Lead Teacher to oversee daily operations and provide high-quality early childhood education. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development, classroom management, and working with young children, including infants and toddlers. This leadership role requires a nurturing approach, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to create a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities.Duties<ul><li>Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum aligned with early childhood education standards</li><li>Lead classroom activities for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs</li><li>Manage daily operations of the daycare center, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations and safety protocols</li><li>Supervise and support teaching staff and caregivers to maintain a positive learning environment</li><li>Conduct regular assessments of children's developmental progress and communicate updates to parents</li><li>Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children through proper supervision and adherence to safety procedures</li><li>Coordinate staff schedules, training sessions, and professional development opportunities</li><li>Foster strong relationships with families to promote community engagement and support child development goals</li><li>Maintain accurate records related to attendance, incidents, and developmental milestones</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience in childcare settings such as daycare, preschool, or classroom teaching</li><li>Strong knowledge of childhood development theories and practices</li><li>Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable</li><li>Certification in First Aid and CPR required; additional certifications in special education or behavior management are a plus</li><li>Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to handle diverse behavioral needs effectively</li><li>Background in early childhood education or related fields preferred</li><li>Demonstrated ability to lead a team of educators while maintaining a nurturing environment for children</li><li>Experience with infant care, toddler care, preschool activities, and classroom experience necessary</li><li>Compassionate caregiver with excellent communication skills for engaging with children and families alike</li><li>Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced setting</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $25.55 - $30.76 per hourWork Location: In person
