Job Summary Looking for a toddler teacher to join our team. We are currently looking for a teacher who is willing to learn and grow as we partner with Neighbor Impact and start Implementing the Pyramid Model in that classroom. As a center the expectation is that we set the bar higher for childcare.Responsibilities<ul><li>Support lead teachers in planning and executing age-appropriate educational activities that promote early childhood development and learning.</li><li>Assist with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, nap time, and bathroom breaks to ensure comfort and hygiene for each child.</li><li>Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring safety and encouraging positive social interactions.</li><li>Help manage classroom behavior by implementing behavior management strategies under the guidance of the lead teacher.</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment by sanitizing toys, surfaces, and materials regularly.</li><li>Observe and document children's progress, behaviors, and needs to inform ongoing development assessments.</li><li>Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's activities and well-being when appropriate.</li><li>Show up on time ready to go in your classroom</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar environments.</li><li>Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.</li><li>Ability to provide nurturing care with patience, enthusiasm, and professionalism.</li><li>Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies.</li><li>Certification or training in first aid is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not already held.</li><li>Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus.</li><li>Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and families.
