This role plays a critical part in delivering insights that drive business decisions across product lines, distributors, and service operations.The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and brings a strong blend of accounting expertise, financial modeling, and industry knowledge.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Analysis &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Perform in-depth financial analysis and develop key metrics, dashboards, and KPIs</li><li>Evaluate financial performance across product lines and distribution channels</li><li>Analyze trends, variances, and profitability to provide actionable insights</li></ul>Profitability &amp; Cost Analysis<ul><li>Evaluate profitability by distributor and product line and identify improvement opportunities</li><li>Conduct cost accounting analysis within a service-based organization</li><li>Develop and enhance financial models to support pricing and strategic initiatives</li></ul>Insurance &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Ensure accuracy and compliance of census files and insurance-related data</li><li>Support adherence to regulatory requirements within the insurance industry</li><li>Partner with internal teams to ensure financial and operational compliance standards are met</li></ul>Vendor &amp; Operational Support<ul><li>Assist in vendor management, including cost monitoring and performance evaluation</li><li>Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies</li></ul>Systems &amp; Data Management<ul><li>Utilize QuickBooks Online for financial tracking and reporting</li><li>Build reports and visualizations using Power BI and advanced Excel tools</li><li>Maintain and improve data integrity across financial systems</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting or related field</li><li>3+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within insurance or benefits</li><li>Strong understanding of benefit insurance products (health, life, disability, etc.)</li><li>Experience with QuickBooks Online</li><li>Proficiency in cost accounting for service organizations</li><li>Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, modeling)</li><li>Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools</li><li>Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in insurance</li></ul>Key Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Strong analytical and quantitative abilities</li><li>High attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights clearly</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively</li></ul>Work Environment<ul><li>Fast-paced, dynamic, and data-driven environment</li><li>Cross-functional collaboration with finance, operations, and insurance teams</li><li>Hybrid or office-based</li></ul>Why Join Us<ul><li>Opportunity to make a direct impact on financial and operational performance</li><li>Collaborative and growth-oriented team environment</li><li>Exposure to strategic decision-making and leadership</li></ul>Pay: $70,899.41 - $85,384.24 per yearWork Location: In person
