Experience working with Solumina and Smarteam preferred Position Purpose:In a team oriented work environment, under minimal supervision, Structural Mech II performs a variety of structural assembly operations in a production department following established operating procedures. All work performed should be in accordance with company design specifications, quality standards and completed work should meet customer expectations. Job Description Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions: <ol><li> Safely perform assembly and fitting of detail parts and structures and varied drilling and riveting operations; ensures parts/assembly meet requirements Safely perform sheetmetal layout, fabrication, and installation of parts, equipment or fabricated items on aircraft .</li><li> Rivet structural assemblies and parts using all tools required. to do the job (e.g. portable riveting guns, pneumatic guns, pneumatic drills, counter sinks, rivet shavers, files, reamers, rivets). Must display the ability to remove fasteners without damaging structure .</li><li> Read work orders, blueprints, lofts, sketches and operation sheets to determine sequence of operations, type size and hole pattern for rivets, cut and form plastics and follow standard operating procedures when using adhesives, sealants, and solvents .</li><li> Check all work and ensure a defective free assembly prior to final inspection .</li><li> Maintain and use all logs and records (e.g. MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs) .</li><li> Align and assemble parts to be riveted using jigs, holding fixtures, pins, clamps, and fasteners. Utilizing proper tooling, shape and form complex angles and configurations according to blueprint specifications or written/verbal information .</li><li> Make repairs per Discrepant Material Tags (DMT), Material Review Request (MRR), Production Change Orders (PCO), performs necessary rework to ensure installations meet conformity .</li><li> Maintain a neat and orderly work area, supports the company 5S Program, and complies with all safety regulations. Apprentice Avionics Installer

Avionics/Electrical Technician Lead - 2nd Shift in GAC Savannah Unique Skills:Gulfstream G500 / G600 or G700 / G800 live aircraft experience preferred Education and Experience Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. Eight (8) years experience in aircraft avionics/electrical career field; or two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and six (6) years related experience. Two (2) years experience on large/mid-size aircraft. Other Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license preferred or must be able to obtain a Repairman Certificate preferred. Other FCC license preferred. Other NCATT Certification preferred.Position Purpose: Plans and coordinates all electrical/avionics activities and provides customers with daily information on aircraft schedules, repairs, parts, components shipped to vendors, etc. Works with hangar management to coordinate electrical/avionics activities and schedule aircraft requirements. Job Description Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions:<ol><li>Plans, schedules, and completes tasks on work authorizations in order to meet the master schedule. Provides daily status reports and progress schedules to management. .</li><li>Coordinates efforts of Electrical and Avionics activities to meet aircraft schedules and deadlines. Reviews work, including forms and records, to ensure compliance with Site Inspection Procedures Manual, Site Operating Procedures and FARs. .</li><li>Supervises and instructs electrical technicians with technical guidance and proper procedures of troubleshooting electrical/avionics systems, routine inspections and preventive maintenance. Provides input to subordinate performance appraisals and submits them to management for review. .</li><li>Reviews daily job charging for all personnel (including support groups) to ensure accuracy of inputs. .</li><li>Maintains a preventive maintenance program on test equipment, hand tools, and special tools.</li><li>Maintains a current knowledge of Aircraft Service Changes (ASC), Customer Bulletins, inspection schedule requirements, vendor information and all other procedures, publications and general knowledge pertaining to aircraft maintenance and servicing.</li><li>Supervises a continuous safety program in hangar area which includes operation of support equipment, aircraft systems and general housekeeping.</li><li>Maintains required. logs and records.</li><li>Enforces the company FOD, tool control, 5-S programs and all safety regulations. .</li><li>Able to adapt to sudden schedule changes.</li><li>Coordinates with other disciplines concerning projects.</li></ol>Additional Functions: 1.1 Establishes and fosters an environment of innovation and Lean oriented thinking. . 2.2 In support of aircraft certification and final phase testing, may include flight tests on aircraft as required.
