Job Title: Logistic Coordinator_ IB Control Tower Group Chassis StaffContract Period: 1+ yr.Working Location: 3 W MacArthur Place, Santa Ana, CA 92707Work Hours: 08:30am ~ 17:30pmRESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Manage the Chassis process of shipment movement (Availability, control movement data, usage report, M&amp;R Service, pre-planning for Shipment)</li></ul><ul><li>Oversee and develop a high performing team to effectively meet the customers&rsquo; needs by motivating, organizing, and encouraging teamwork and meeting or exceeding deadlines.</li></ul><ul><li>Manage relationships with selected Chassis Suppliers and make urgent communication in case of emergency</li></ul><ul><li>Requires daily coordination with trucking companies, depots, and internal drayage teams to ensure optimal equipment availability and usage.</li></ul><ul><li>Analyze and Report monthly on KPI's for chassis utilizations</li></ul><ul><li>Establish delivery status report and share with customers</li></ul><ul><li>Create simple tools to manage regular shipment monitoring status and report to upper management, customers, and HQ</li></ul><ul><li>Analyze data to find out the pending issues in terms of seamless movement and share with related parties to resolve the issues.</li></ul><ul><li>Checking billing information from suppliers</li></ul><ul><li>Document corrective actions and improvement plans properly, and verify plan's effectiveness.</li></ul><ul><li>Perform ad-hoc reporting, as required.</li></ul><ul><li>Perform other job related duties as required</li></ul><ul><li>Monitor flow and usage of chassis over the US and secure required equipment for operation with truckers</li></ul><ul><li>Inventory quantities of chassis required for operation with truckers on daily basis and perform equipment control over the US</li></ul><ul><li>Audit/review chassis invoices and enter in SAP/excel</li></ul><ul><li>Review existing chassis agreements to identify opportunities for optimization, cost savings, and improved service levels.</li></ul><ul><li>Draft, revise, and issue amendments and addendums to existing contracts as needed</li></ul><ul><li>Manage and maintain the contract management database, ensuring all documents are current and accessible.</li></ul>Requirements/Qualifications:<ul><li>High School GED required</li></ul><ul><li>Experience in Logistics Equipment Management or Chassis Management required</li></ul><ul><li>Strong understanding of international transportation especially ocean shipping and freight forwarding industry</li></ul><ul><li>Experience in establishing a transport plan that can optimize loading rate, transport time and logistics cost</li></ul><ul><li>Experience in leading a group of team members with effective leadership</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to manage within goals by considering in time, budget and business objectives</li></ul><ul><li>Use creative thinking and strategic problem-solving techniques</li></ul><ul><li>Effective oral and written communication</li></ul><ul><li>A good attitude and ability to work in a team setting</li></ul><ul><li>Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite and other applications</li></ul><ul><li>Prioritization skill, able to shift focus to urgent issues while not falling behind on other duties</li></ul><ul><li>5+ years of relevant experience in Logistics Drayage Management preferred</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to travel up to 20% in domestic</li></ul>Job Type: ContractPay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
