Position Overview
The Production Operator II is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment to meet production, quality, and safety objectives. This role supports day-to-day manufacturing activities, maintains accurate documentation, and contributes to a collaborative, team-oriented work environment. Production Operators play a critical role in ensuring products meet H.B. Fuller&rsquo;s quality standards and customer expectations. 
Primary Responsibilities<ul><li>
Operate and monitor production equipment in accordance with established procedures and work instructions</li><li>
Perform routine quality checks and accurately document results</li><li>
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards</li><li>
Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate concerns as appropriate</li><li>
Complete production records, documentation, and system entries in a timely and accurate manner</li><li>
Assist with material handling, staging, and basic inventory control activities</li><li>
Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements</li><li>
Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to team and site goals</li></ul> 
Minimum Qualifications<ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment</li><li>
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time</li><li>
Basic computer skills for data entry and production reporting</li><li>
Authorized to work in the United States</li></ul> 
Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>
Experience operating automated manufacturing or chemical processing equipment</li><li>
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles</li><li>
Mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting capabilities</li><li>
Forklift certification</li></ul>
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
The salary for this role is $23.00 &ndash; $26.00 per hour (based on experience).

 Position Overview
 
 
 
 The Scientist II supports Research &amp; Development and Technical Service activities for strategic business markets within the BAS Business Line. This role is responsible to spearhead laboratory experimentation, advanced application testing, rigorous documentation, in-depth product evaluation, and seamless technology transfer to accelerate market impact.
 
 
 This position is required to support ongoing R&amp;D projects, product development, and lab testing critical to the BAS business. It ensures timely innovation, raw material evaluation, and technical support essential for customer and plant needs.

 Critical Qualifications &amp; Expectations
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Proven Product Development Leadership: Demonstrated success in construction segment product innovation&mdash;from ideation and formulation to commercialization and scale-up. Track record of delivering high-impact, market-ready solutions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Regional Expertise: Currently based in the ME region (strongly preferred) to leverage local market insights, foster agile partnerships, and drive region-specific strategies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Technical Mastery: Comprehensive command of solvent-based products and formulations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Extensive hands-on exposure to waterproofing coatings and sealants, with deep knowledge of PU (polyurethane), MS Polymer, and Silicone technologies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Industry Acumen: Solid understanding of construction sector dynamics, including regulatory landscapes, customer needs, and competitive trends.
 </li>
 <li>
 Relevant Experience: 5+ years in R&amp;D, product development, or technical service within adhesives, coatings, or sealants&mdash;ideally in construction applications.
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Minimum Qualifications

 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in chemistry with 5+ years of relevant experience, OR
 </li>
 <li>
 Master&rsquo;s degree in chemistry with 2+ years of experience, OR

 Associate degree in chemical technology with 4+ years of industrial lab/application experience.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with laboratory testing methods, equipment, and adhesives‑related processes.

 Experience with Solvent based, Water based Emulsions, Rubbers, Polyurethane, Acrylic, Elastomeric Polymers and related chemistries
