Drivers are responsible for operating and maintaining their truck in a safe and efficient manner. Work is fast paced and involves a lot of driving, labor, and effective communication with dispatch and site crews.Primary Responsibilities:<ul><li>Safely operate Redi Mix truck to haul and deliver concrete to residential and commercial construction sites.</li><li>Ensure the load is accurate, properly mixed, and the correct consistency</li><li>Provide courteous, professional, and customer-focused service while representing the company at all job sites and customer locations</li><li>Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections with appropriate documentation</li><li>Performs day-to-day maintenance and washouts on vehicle (wash, grease, oil, fuel, coolant)</li><li>Completes and submits all required paperwork correctly and in a timely manner</li><li>Follow directions from the dispatcher and job site foreman</li><li>Communicate effectively with the crew on the job site, dispatchers, customers, and coworkers</li><li>May collect payment from customers (cash or check); ensure accurate documentation of all transactions and timely submission of payments</li><li>Follow all local, state, federal, and DOT regulations and company safety rules</li><li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized truck</li><li>Operates various hand tools and performs medium to heavy manual labor</li><li>Assist with yard or shop tasks when needed</li><li>Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the needs of the organization</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Education: High School Diploma or GED</li><li>Experience: Experience driving a commercial motor vehicle is preferred but not required</li><li>Driver&rsquo;s License: Valid Class A or B CDL with Air Brakes</li><li>Current Fed Med card is required</li><li>Dependable and safety focused</li><li>Able to work overtime as required</li></ul>Physical Demands and Work Environment:<ul><li>Lifting up to 50-75lbs &middot; Frequent climbing, bending, reaching, and climbing stairs and ladders &middot; Sitting and driving for long periods of time</li><li>Washing out mixer drum (hosing, shoveling, scraping, etc.)</li><li>Working in all types of weather (heat, cold, rain, dust, noise)</li><li>Exposure to noise, dust, concrete materials</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) 10% Match</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
