JOB DESCRIPTIONWe&rsquo;re seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with detail and precision, and wants to be part of a company where their contributions truly matter.You&rsquo;ll play a key role in managing the company&rsquo;s payables process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance- all while supporting the financial strength of a well- established and growing homebuilding organization.Job ResponsibilitiesThe job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>Process vendor invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports accurately and efficiently</li><li>Reconcile accounts payable transactions and maintain organized records</li><li>Ensure all payments are made in accordance with company policies and deadlines</li><li>Manage vendor relationships and respond to inquiries promptly and professionally</li><li>Assist with month-end closing and other accounting functions as needed</li><li>Other projects as needed.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>1-2 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting preferred; experience in the construction or homebuilding industry is a plus.</li><li>Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and positive attitude</li><li>Accounting software experience a plus</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Excel a plus</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Competitive compensation based on experience</li><li>Paid time off and holidays</li><li>Health Insurance</li><li>Opportunities for professional development and advancement</li></ul>Habitech Communities (www.habitechcommunities.com/) For more than 30 years Habitech Communities has been developing planned subdivisions and building some of the finest homes in the Boston area.
