Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: As aHealth & Safety Business Partner you will report to the Supply Chain & Logistics Manager, based in Rydalmere (Sydney) for a permanent contract. TheHealth, Safety, Environment & Quality Business Partneris integral to ensuring that all sites and business units within the region comply with health, safety, environment and quality regulations. This role is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of all policies and procedures, fostering a safe work environment and ensuring consistently high operational standards across the business. As the chair of the regional Health & Safety Committee, the position holder is responsible for overseeing all safety systems, including reporting, incident management, and compliance. This role is key to driving improvements in safety standards and advancing the company's zero harm goals. What will you do? <ul> <li>Accountable for the quality systems in the region, including QIM, ensuring any quality related topics regional QIM alignment of market product compliance and regulation mapping within Hager Pacific markets</li> <li>Oversee all aspects of HSE&Q for Hager's Pacific operations, including one manufacturing site, one distribution centre, four 3PL sites, three Sales offices and mobile Sales teams</li> <li>Analyse and assess safety risks at various workstations (chemical risks, occupational health and safety etc.) to define and manage actions to address significant risks</li> <li>Carry out compliance and validation of Work Equipment Safety documentation and prepare materials for weekly briefings and monthly presentation of indicators and objectives</li> <li>Participate in the various HSE&Q projects identified internally at the site and/or group level as well as obtaining and maintaining H&S ISO certifications across Hager & WSP owned sites in the region</li> </ul> What do you bring? <ul> <li>Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering or a related field in combination with several years' work experience</li> <li>Relevant HS&Q certifications such as Cert IV in Work, Health & Safety (WHS), ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, or other industry-recognised certifications as well as knowledge of Quality Management Systems and quality methods & tools (APQP, FMEA, PPAP)</li> <li>In-depth knowledge of HSE&Q standards, including ISO certifications, Australian WHS regulations, and industry best practices in line with process improvement and development knowledge (RCA, 8D, Lean Six Sigma etc.)</li> <li>Project Management proficiency and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from frontline staff to senior management, ensuring clear understanding of HSE&Q requirements</li> <li>Fluent English language skills (C1), strong communication skills and willingness to travel between the logistics DCs as well as manufacturing and production sites in Brisbane and Sydney (interstate travel)</li> </ul> What we offer? <ul> <li>Personalized onboarding experience programdesigned to make your first dayssmooth</li> <li>Opportunities to learn and grow through Hager Group's awarded HiUniversity.</li> <li>Internal career opportunities, over 25% of our recruitments are through internal mobility</li> </ul> What are the recruitment stages? <ul> <li>Once your CV has been selected, you will be contacted by HR for an initial phone exchange</li> <li>You will be invited for a first interview with the hiring manager & the recruiter</li> <li>A second Interview will be then organized with the N+2 & the HR manager</li> </ul> Our success relies on collective energy.
