Job Description:Tiny Traveler Transportation, LLC is seeking a reliable, safety-conscious, and compassionate Driver to join our team. In this role, you are more than just a driver; you are a vital link in ensuring children reach their medical appointments safely, punctually, and with care. You will lead the transport team, working alongside a Bus Assistant to provide a secure and supportive environment for our young passengers.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Safely operate the company vehicle to transport children to and from medical appointments and other designated locations.</li><li>Ensure the vehicle is operated in strict accordance with all traffic laws and company safety protocols.</li><li>Oversee the proper boarding, seating, and unloading of all passengers, ensuring car seats and safety restraints are used correctly.</li><li>Maintain clear communication with the Bus Assistant, dispatch, and parents/guardians regarding pick-up and drop-off timing.</li><li>Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in safe, working condition.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior at all times.</li><li>Complete accurate trip logs and documentation as required by NEMT standards.</li><li>Comply with all company policies, including strict adherence to our drug and alcohol testing program.</li></ul>Job Requirements:<ul><li>Valid Driver&rsquo;s License: Must be in good standing (CDL is not required, but a clean driving record is mandatory).</li><li>Safe Driving History: A proven track record of safe driving with no major recent violations.</li><li>Experience: Previous experience in professional driving or NEMT is preferred; experience working with children is a major plus.</li><li>Patient &amp; Professional: Ability to remain calm and professional while navigating traffic and interacting with children who may have special needs.</li><li>CPR and First Aid Certification: (Training will be provided if not currently certified).</li><li>Child Safety Training: (Training will be provided if not currently certified).</li><li>Physical Ability: Ability to assist with loading/unloading and securing car seats or mobility devices.</li><li>Screening: Must pass a comprehensive background check and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review.</li><li>Testing: Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing and participate in our ongoing random testing safety policy.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $25.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Company car</li></ul>Work Location: In person
