Our ideal candidate is someone who is dependable, has a positive outlook and genuinely enjoys being a part of a team.Why you'll love it here<ul><li>Supportive teammates who have your back</li><li>Amazing patients who truly appreciate us</li><li>A doctor who values quality work over numbers</li><li>Continuing Education and opportunities to grow</li><li>Potlucks (we love food!)</li><li>A workplace where your voice matters</li></ul>Duties<ul><li>Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing dental instruments and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly according to dental sterilization procedures and infection prevention management standards.</li><li>Assist dentist chairside during a variety of procedures such as oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry - providing four-handed dentistry support for efficiency and patient comfort.</li><li>Take x-rays and medical imaging using advanced equipment like 3D scanners (Dexis)while adhering to HIPAA regulations and radiation safety protocols.</li><li>Manage patient records accurately using patient management software (Dentrix), ensuring all patient records are up-to-date and compliant with clinical policies.</li><li>Conduct vital signs assessments and document medical history updates to support comprehensive patient care.</li><li>Educate patients on oral health practices, post-treatment care instructions, and explain dental terminology clearly to foster understanding and compliance.</li><li>Support other team members in various areas of the office to ensure ideal patient flow.</li></ul>Experience Required<ul><li>Current RDA licensure</li><li>Hands-on knowledge of dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting, dental instrument processing, infection control protocols, etc.</li><li>Experience operating dental equipment such as X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and other clinical tools with precision.</li><li>Strong understanding of healthcare infection prevention and control standards including HIPAA compliance.</li><li>Familiarity with Dentrix</li><li>Ability to handle various ages of patients with patience and professionalism.</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Team player - willing to jump in wherever needed</li><li>A positive attitude!</li></ul>If you're looking for a dental home where you'll be valued, supported, and a part of something truly special - we'd love to meet you!
