This role is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to build a career in purchasing and supply chain. The selected candidate will assist with day-to-day purchasing activities, vendor communication, and order tracking, while gaining valuable experience in a manufacturing environment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Place purchase orders for parts, raw materials, and supplies as directed</li><li>Communicate with vendors to confirm pricing, lead times, and order status</li><li>Assist in comparing quotes to ensure competitive purchasing decisions</li><li>Enter and maintain purchasing records in the NetSuite ERP/CRM system</li><li>Work with sales, manufacturing, and warehouse teams to understand material needs</li><li>Track orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve basic issues with vendors</li><li>Monitor inventory levels and notify management of shortages</li><li>Support the Procurement Manager with administrative tasks as needed</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Good written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Prior experience in purchasing, supply chain, or office administration</li><li>Familiarity with ERP or CRM systems (NetSuite experience a plus)</li><li>Coursework or education in business, accounting, or supply chain management</li></ul>Employment TypeFull-time, hourly, standard 8-hour daysPay Range$20.00 &ndash; $28.00 per hourCompensation DetailsHarsh International, Inc. offers a minimum starting rate of $20.00 per hour during the 90-day probationary period. Upon completion of the probationary period, a performance review will be conducted to determine fair and competitive pay, with the potential to increase the hourly rate up to $28.00 per hour based on performance.
