Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable / Administrative AssistantWe are a small, fast-paced commercial real estate brokerage and property management firm on Indy&rsquo;s west side, managing approximately one million square feet of office, retail and industrial properties. We do it all with just a handful of talented staff members! We&rsquo;re looking for a reliable part-time admin to keep our office and tenant accounts balanced and accurate. We manage 25+ properties for 25+ different owners &mdash; meaning 25+ separate sets of books &mdash; so staying organized and detail-focused is a must. You&rsquo;ll work closely with our staff accountant and property manager to ensure the owner/tenant relationship is handled in a professional, timely manner on a day-to-day basis.What you&rsquo;ll do:&middot; Post monthly charges to tenant accounts&middot; Prepare and send rent statements for each property&middot; Invoice tenants for keys, utilities and miscellaneous items&middot; Collect, record, and deposit rent payments accurately and on time&middot; Enter bills/invoices by property and prepare checks for payment&middot; Track tenant submissions, including gross sales reports and certificates of insurance, and follow up as needed&middot; Submit regular reports to internal departments&middot; Maintain communication with tenants and our internal team&middot; Preserve office files for leases and accounts payable&middot; Support the brokerage, accounting and property management staff with various tasks as neededAbout you:&middot; 3+ years of AR/AP experience is preferred, but we&rsquo;re happy to train the right candidate&middot; Detail-focused, organized, and able to keep multiple property accounts on track&middot; Positive, professional, and comfortable communicating with a wide variety of people&middot; Great written communication skills are a must&middot; Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and Outlook)&middot; An aptitude for math&middot; Property management or real estate knowledge would be helpful, but not required&middot; Willing to work approx. 6 or 7 hours per day (typically Mon - Fri, 8:00 AM &ndash; 2:00 or 3:00 PM)We offer:&middot; Casual, friendly work environment&middot; Paid vacation&middot; Paid 30-minute lunch breakPay: $19.00 - $20.50 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
