 What We Want You To Do
 
 
 
 Operational &amp; Process Management
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Oversee and manage day-to-day laboratory operations, ensuring seamless workflow across all departments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop, implement, and monitor SOPs, workflows, and operational policies to maintain efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Supervise and coordinate with biomedical engineers, ensuring proper functioning, calibration, and preventive maintenance of all laboratory equipment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with R&amp;D, Bioinformatics, and Clinical teams to ensure alignment of lab operations with project timelines and data quality goals.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure strict adherence to biochemical waste management, biosafety and biosecurity practices within the laboratory.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 Quality Management
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Establish, maintain, and continuously improve Quality Management Systems (QMS) in accordance with NABL/ISO or other relevant accreditation standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee internal quality control (IQC), external quality assurance (EQA), and audit preparedness.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage documentation for audits, certifications, and regulatory inspections.
 </li>
 <li>
 Implement and monitor Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for all non-conformities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure continuous training and competency assessments for lab personnel to maintain technical excellence.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 People Management &amp; Team Leadership
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Lead, mentor, and develop the laboratory team, ensuring adherence to professional and ethical standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Allocate responsibilities, set performance goals, and monitor outcomes for all lab staff.
 </li>
 <li>
 Foster a collaborative and accountable work culture focused on continuous learning and operational excellence.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 Stores &amp; Inventory Management
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Oversee procurement, inventory tracking, and stores management for reagents, consumables, and equipment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure optimal stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with vendors for timely supply, service contracts, and procurement approvals.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 Continuous Improvement &amp; Compliance
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Drive process optimization and cost-efficiency initiatives to enhance productivity.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure all laboratory practices comply with statutory, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Regularly review and update operational processes to align with evolving technologies and standards.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 What Are We Looking In You
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Master&rsquo;s degree (M.Sc./M.Tech) in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum 3+ years of experience managing laboratory operations in a diagnostics, genomics, or biomedical setup.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS), laboratory audits, and regulatory compliance (NABL/ISO).
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and technical personnel, including biomedical engineers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Expertise in equipment handling, calibration, and preventive maintenance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in inventory and vendor management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in data management, and documentation systems.
