This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in food service and hospitality while working in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. base salary of $3.50 per hour plus tips with our average pastime server making $21.06 per hour total with dedication and attention to detail in this establishment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience</li><li>Take accurate food and beverage orders using our POS systems Toast POS, ensuring all special requests are noted</li><li>Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities</li><li>Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness</li><li>Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, using POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms</li><li>Maintain food safety standards by following sanitation protocols, proper food handling procedures, and cleanliness guidelines</li><li>Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast or Square, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable, Resy or Toast Tables is advantageous</li><li>Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle guest relations professionally</li><li>Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques</li><li>Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting</li><li>Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and order calculations</li><li>Previous experience in serving, bartending, bussing, or host/hostess roles preferred</li><li>Culinary experience or kitchen background is beneficial but not required; a passion for food industry trends is valued</li></ul>Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to creating memorable experiences!
