Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using our POS systems Toast POS, ensuring all special requests are noted
• Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, using POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
• Maintain food safety standards by following sanitation protocols, proper food handling procedures, and cleanliness guidelines
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast or Square, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable, Resy or Toast Tables is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle guest relations professionally
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and order calculations
• Previous experience in serving, bartending, bussing, or host/hostess roles preferred
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is beneficial but not required; a passion for food industry trends is valued
