Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing attentive and friendly customer service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Upsell menu items and suggest pairings to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage multiple tables with effective time management, ensuring prompt service without sacrificing quality
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety regulations
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally
- Support overall restaurant operations by collaborating with team members to deliver seamless service in a fine dining or lively nightclub setting
Experience
- Prior experience working in food service environments such as restaurants, fine dining establishments, or nightclubs is highly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Proven ability to upsell menu items and enhance guest experiences through excellent customer service skills
- Experience in food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations is essential
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during high-volume periods
- Previous host/host or serving experience that highlights guest relations skills is advantageous
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing are required
- Familiarity with OpenTable reservations system or similar booking platforms is a plus
