Duties

• Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and assist with food and beverage selections to enhance their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems , ensuring clarity for kitchen staff and bartenders
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while providing personalized recommendations based on guest preferences
• Manage table settings, clear dishes, bussing tables efficiently, and assist with food handling and sanitation protocols
• Wine service and prestiotantion are a must
• Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or upscale restaurants
• Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and reservations management
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest satisfaction
• Ability to multitask effectively while managing time during busy shifts; excellent organizational skills are essential
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Previous experience in serving, bussing, hosting/hostessing, or cashiering is highly desirable
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy; culinary experience is a plus for understanding food preparation processes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $25.45 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
