Position Summary:</h3>
The Scheduler is responsible for creating and maintaining staff schedules, managing call-offs, coordinating shift coverage, and supporting the nursing leadership team to ensure appropriate staffing levels at all times.

Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Create and maintain weekly and monthly nursing schedules</li><li>
Coordinate coverage for call-offs, PTO, and vacancies</li><li>
Communicate staffing needs to nursing leadership promptly</li><li>
Monitor overtime and assist with minimizing agency usage</li><li>
Maintain accurate attendance and scheduling records</li><li>
Collaborate with HR and leadership on staffing updates</li><li>
Ensure compliance with staffing guidelines and regulations</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>
Must have active QMA or CNA license in Indiana</li><li>
Previous scheduling experience preferred (healthcare setting strongly preferred)</li><li>
Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care a plus</li><li>
Strong communication and problem-solving skills</li><li>
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment</li><li>
Proficient with scheduling software and Microsoft Office</li><li>
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail</li></ul></div>
