We are in a high-growth phase and are building our operations infrastructure from the ground up.Job SummaryWe are seeking a hands-on Director of Operations to lead and scale all operational functions. This role owns fulfillment, inventory, logistics, and process execution. The ideal candidate can build systems, lead teams, and execute at a high level in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead all day-to-day operations, including fulfillment and logistics</li><li>Build and enforce warehouse SOPs for picking, packing, shipping, and returns</li><li>Implement batch-picking and efficiency workflows</li><li>Oversee inventory planning, receiving, cycle counts, and replenishment</li><li>Hire, train, and manage fulfillment staff and supervisors</li><li>Create shift schedules and labor plans</li><li>Ensure on-time, accurate order fulfillment</li><li>Track and report operational KPIs and costs</li><li>Continuously improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>5+ years of operations or fulfillment leadership experience</li><li>Experience managing in-house e-commerce or DTC operations</li><li>Strong understanding of warehouse workflows and inventory management</li><li>Proven ability to build SOPs and operational systems</li><li>Hands-on leadership style with strong problem-solving skills</li><li>Comfortable working on the warehouse floor when needed</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>DTC, CPG, or e-commerce experience</li><li>Experience with Shopify, ShipStation, or WMS platforms</li><li>Startup or high-growth company experience</li></ul>Compensation<ul><li>Competitive salary based on experience</li><li>Performance-based incentives</li><li>Opportunity for long-term growth and leadership advancement</li></ul>Work Location<ul><li>On-site at Hearth fulfillment operations</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Retirement plan</li></ul>Work Location: In person
