Position Summary:</b></div><div>
HeliService USA is seeking a detailed oriented and proactive Human Resources Generalist to support our growing team. This role is responsible for managing a wide range of HR functions, including recruitment and hiring, onboarding and training new employees, administering employee benefits, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and providing general administrative support to the department. This position plays a key role in building and maintaining a high-performing workforce. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, people-focused, and passionate about creating a positive employee experience while helping HeliService USA continue its track record of reliability and readiness for our customers.<br>

</div><p></p><div><div><div><b>EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS, SYSTEMS</b></div></div><div><div><div><br>
Required:</div><div><ul><li><b>
Education: </b>Undergraduate degree. Preferably in the area of Human Resources or Business Administration, or in a similar/related field.</li><li><b>
</b><b>Experience:</b><ul><li>
2+ years of previous work experience in a Human Resources department preferably in a generalist, coordinator, or specialist capacity.</li><li>
Prior experience with recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, payroll, and benefits administration is required.</li><li>
Prior experience supporting compliance with employment laws (FMLA, ADA, EEOC, etc.)</li></ul></li><li><b>
Skills:</b><ul><li>
Strong knowledge of HR processes.</li><li>
Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance best practices. Particularly, in the states of RI, MA, VA, OH, TX.</li><li>
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and in a small department setting.</li><li>
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-service mindset</li><li>
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information appropriately.</li><li>
Extremely detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and documentation</li><li>
Ability to work independently with little oversight and collaborate in a team environment as needed.</li></ul></li><li><b>
Licenses/Certifications: </b>Valid driver&rsquo;s license.</li><li><b>
Systems:</b><ul><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.</li><li>
Experience with HRIS, ATS, and payroll/benefits administration systems.</li></ul></li></ul></div><div>
Preferred:</div><div><ul><li><b>
Experience: </b>Exposure or previous experience in aviation, transportation, manufacturing, or other safety-critical industries is a plus. Interest in the energy sector.</li><li><b>

RESPONSBILITIES/DUTIES</b></div></div><div><div><br>
<ul><li>
Support full-cycle recruitment efforts including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and new hire onboarding.</li><li>
Administer employee benefits programs, assist employees with benefit inquiries, and coordinate with external providers as needed.</li><li>
Assist in the design, rollout, and ongoing administration of new and existing company benefit programs to ensure they remain competitive and compliant.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies, including maintaining accurate records and documentation.</li><li>
Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations questions, escalating issues to the HR Manager when appropriate.</li><li>
Manage employee files and HRIS data to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with retention requirements.</li><li>
Maintain FAA/DOT compliance by helping administer and monitor the company&rsquo;s drug and alcohol testing program.</li><li>
Coordinate and track mandatory training, certifications, and clearances to maintain workforce readiness. Conduct training as necessary.</li><li>
Review payroll inputs and changes accurately in collaboration with the Payroll department.</li><li>
Assist with the development and communication of HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.</li><li>
Provide and be the first point of contact for general administrative support for the HR department, including but not limited to, handling routine inquiries, responding to employee questions, processing paperwork, training and educating staff, when necessary, etc.</li><li>
Partner with managers and employees to foster a positive, inclusive, and compliant workplace culture.</li></ul></div></div></div><p></p><div><div><div><b><br>

Workforce Readiness &amp; Compliance: Percentage of employees with all required pre-hire checks, certifications, training, and clearances.</li><li>
Compliance &amp; Error Rate in HR Administration: Percentage of HR compliance or legal audits issues, mistakes or oversights.</li><li>
