About Helping Others Manage Emotions Therapeutic Services (H.O.M.E): 
H.O.M.E is a mission-driven behavioral health organization dedicated to providing high-quality, client-centered care to underserved communities. We offer outpatient mental health services, psychiatric rehabilitation, therapy, and substance use disorder services. We are seeking a Psychiatrist to join our team on a PRN (as-needed) basis &mdash; focused solely on client care, with minimal supervisory duties. 
 
 Position Summary: 
The Psychiatrist will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and follow-up care to children, adolescents, and/or adults on a flexible, as-needed basis. Supervisory duties include reviewing NPs documentation and providing education as needed. 
 
 Key Responsibilities: 
 
<ul><li>Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments for clients of all ages (children, adolescents, adults) as scheduled.</li>
<li>Develop individualized treatment plans that align with the client&rsquo;s goals, clinical needs, and best practices.</li>
<li>Provide medication management services, including prescribing, titrating, and monitoring psychotropic medications for effectiveness, side effects, and adherence.</li>
<li>Conduct ongoing psychiatric follow-up appointments to assess progress, adjust medications, and modify treatment plans as needed.</li>
<li>Offer psychoeducation to clients and families about diagnoses, medications, potential side effects, and treatment options.</li>
<li>Collaborate closely with therapists, psychiatric rehabilitation staff, case managers, and other members of the care team to ensure coordinated and holistic care.</li>
<li>Maintain timely, accurate, and thorough documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) according to organizational policies and regulatory standards.</li>
<li>Participate in treatment team meetings and case consultations when appropriate to support integrated care.</li>
<li>Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed, including safety planning and referrals to higher levels of care when appropriate.</li>
<li>Stay current with evidence-based psychiatric practices, state regulations, and professional standards through ongoing education and training.</li>
</ul>Qualifications: 
 
<ul><li>Psychiatrist<ul><li>
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.</li></ul>
</li><li>Active Maryland medical license.</li>
<li>Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.</li>
<li>Minimum 1 year of outpatient psychiatric experience preferred.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and flexibly within a team environment.</li>
<li>Excellent communication, assessment, and documentation skills.</li>
