Job description:The position is a combination of a personal assistant/office assistant to the Director of a small nonprofit. Position is part-time, temporary. It is 90 days with the possibility of being renewed and promoted to a higher position, pending grant renewal.```Duties```-Handle emergencies calmly and professionally -Run errands -Problem solver - Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Director - Manage the Director's calendar, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings - Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations - Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls, emails, and mail - Organize and maintain files and records - Conduct research and gather information as needed - Assist with travel arrangements and expense reporting - Coordinate and manage special projects as assigned - Assist with event planning and coordination```Requirements```-Associate's degree-Able to work effectively from home (this position is hybrid) - Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or in a similar role - Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Familiarity with Google Suite is a plus - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information - Strong customer service orientation - Ability to transcribe accurately and efficientlyPreferred (but not required):<ul><li>Grant writing experience</li><li>IT knowledge</li><li>Web design</li><li>Teaching experience</li></ul>Schedule will vary weekly, 5 - 10 hours per week on average.Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
