Your proactive attitude and organizational skills will help create an efficient, welcoming workplace where productivity and positivity flourish.&lt;Duties&gt;<ul><li>Greet visitors and manage front desk responsibilities with professionalism and warmth</li><li>Clean, disinfect, and reset operatories between patients</li><li>Disinfect all clinical contact surfaces using approved solutions</li><li>Stock operatories with necessary instruments and materials</li><li>Ensure all rooms are patient-ready at all times</li><li>Assist clinical team with instrument turnover during busy schedules</li><li>Collect, transport, and handle contaminated instruments safely using proper PPE</li><li>Perform pre-cleaning (manual or ultrasonic cleaning) of instruments</li><li>Inspect instruments for debris, damage, and functionality</li><li>Package and bag instruments with correct labeling and indicators</li><li>Operate sterilization equipment (autoclave, statim, etc.) properly</li><li>Monitor sterilization cycles (time, temperature, pressure)</li><li>Perform and document spore testing (weekly minimum or per policy)</li><li>Maintain sterilization logs and records accurately</li><li>Ensure proper storage of sterile instruments to maintain sterility</li></ul>Join us to be part of a vibrant environment where your organizational talents make a real difference! We are committed to fostering a positive workplace that values your professional growth and dedication.Duties<ul><li>Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in accordance with infection control protocols using aseptic techniques.</li><li>Assist dentists during a variety of procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry, providing chairside support with enthusiasm and professionalism.</li><li>Take high-quality dental radiographs (X-rays) ensuring proper positioning and safety measures for patients and staff.</li><li>Manage patient records efficiently within Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems such as Open Dental ensuring accuracy in medical documentation and coding.</li><li>Monitor vital signs and assess patient comfort throughout procedures, especially when working with pediatric or medically complex patients.</li><li>Educate patients on dental terminology, procedures, and post-treatment care to foster understanding and compliance.</li><li>Support front desk responsibilities by greeting patients as a dental receptionist, scheduling appointments, and managing medical records while maintaining HIPAA compliance.</li><li>Operate advanced imaging equipment like 3D scanners when necessary for comprehensive diagnostics in general dentistry or specialized treatments.</li><li>Collaborate seamlessly with team members in a four-handed dentistry setup to enhance efficiency and patient experience.</li><li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, infection control standards, and dental assisting best practices to ensure top-tier service delivery.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Valid X-ray certification required; additional certifications in dental assisting or related fields are preferred.</li><li>Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment.</li><li>Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards to ensure confidentiality and compliance.</li><li>Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice.</li><li>Experience supporting pediatric dentistry or working with pediatric patients is highly desirable.</li><li>Ability to perform medical imaging procedures accurately while adhering to safety guidelines for radiation exposure.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to educate patients effectively about procedures and post-care instructions.
