The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, expertise in networking technologies, and the ability to ensure reliable and secure connectivity across the business.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Design, configure, and support LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.</li><li>Install and maintain network hardware such as routers, switches, and firewalls.</li><li>Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.</li><li>Implement network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and encryption.</li><li>Manage IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.</li><li>Support VoIP, cloud connectivity, and remote access solutions.</li><li>Perform regular system updates, patches, and backup procedures.</li><li>Document network configurations, procedures, and issue resolutions.</li><li>Collaborate with IT teams to support business applications and projects.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>3+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.</li><li>Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.</li><li>Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking equipment.</li><li>Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.</li><li>Knowledge of network security best practices and firewalls.</li><li>Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.</li></ul>Job Type: Contract Contract length: 12 monthsPay: &#65020;4,000.00 - &#65020;4,500.00 per month

Network Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users for hardware, software, and networking issues. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS environments, and a passion for delivering exceptional IT support.Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide first and second-level support to users for desktop/laptop, printers, mobile devices, and other peripherals</li><li>Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software systems</li><li>Respond to support tickets, phone calls, and emails in a timely and professional manner</li><li>Support end-users with Microsoft Office Suite, Windows OS, and common applications</li><li>Manage and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory</li><li>Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes including provisioning and decommissioning of devices</li><li>Collaborate with other IT staff and departments to resolve complex issues</li><li>Maintain IT inventory, documentation, and user guides</li><li>Ensure all systems are compliant with company policies and security standards</li><li>Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level technical support or vendors</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience as a Desktop Support Technician, IT Support Engineer, or similar role</li><li>Strong understanding of Windows 10/11, macOS, and Microsoft 365 applications</li><li>Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and basic networking concepts</li><li>Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, or Zendesk)</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking abilities</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks</li></ul>Job Type: Contract Contract length: 12 monthsPay: KD40.000 - KD45.000 per day
