Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Concrete Worker &amp; Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. This paid position is ideal for individuals passionate about construction, eager to develop their skills, and committed to delivering excellence on every project.Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare construction sites by setting up formwork, framing, and scaffolding according to blueprints and schematics</li><li>Mix, pour, and finish concrete using mixers, pumps, and hand tools to achieve smooth, level surfaces</li><li>Install rebar reinforcement for structural integrity in foundations, walls, and slabs</li><li>Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities</li><li>Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely and efficiently during concrete placement and carpentry tasks</li><li>Execute framing, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and stucco applications with precision</li><li>Perform masonry work including tile laying, plastering, and restoration projects as needed</li><li>Conduct demolition or renovation work by removing old materials and preparing surfaces for new installations</li><li>Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards through regular inspections</li><li>Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining a safe working environment</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction tools and equipment operation</li><li>Proficiency in construction estimating to assist in project planning and material procurement</li><li>Expertise in rebar installation, concrete forming, finishing techniques, and concrete pumping systems</li><li>Skilled in the use of hand tools such as hammers, chisels, saws, trowels, caulking guns, and measuring devices</li><li>Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately</li><li>Knowledge of heavy lifting procedures and safe operation of heavy machinery including cranes or forklifts</li><li>Ability to perform roofing tasks or flooring installation when required</li><li>Familiarity with masonry techniques including brickwork or stonework restoration</li><li>Capable of heavy equipment operation for site preparation or material transportation</li><li>Valid commercial driving license preferred for transporting materials or equipment between sites</li></ul>This role is perfect for dedicated construction professionals eager to expand their expertise across concrete work and carpentry disciplines.
