This is an entry-level field position responsible for helping complete scheduled lawn maintenance work with quality, pace, and professionalism while protecting customer properties and following safety standards.This role is a good fit for someone who takes pride in their work, wants to grow in the landscape industry, and can work well as part of a crew.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform routine lawn maintenance services including mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing</li><li>Help keep properties clean, sharp, and professionally maintained</li><li>Assist with load-out, jobsite setup, and end-of-day cleanup</li><li>Operate basic landscape equipment safely and correctly</li><li>Complete daily equipment inspections and report any issues right away</li><li>Protect turf, planting beds, irrigation components, and hardscape from damage</li><li>Follow crew leader instructions and maintain production pace throughout the day</li><li>Report property damage, customer requests, equipment problems, or safety concerns immediately</li><li>Work safely in all weather conditions while following company safety standards and PPE requirements</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Landscaping or lawn maintenance experience is a plus, but not required</li><li>Strong work ethic and willingness to learn</li><li>Reliable attendance and punctuality</li><li>Ability to work well with a team and take direction</li><li>Attention to detail and pride in workmanship</li><li>Ability to perform physical outdoor work for extended periods</li><li>Ability to lift 50+ lbs</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license is a plus</li><li>Must be able to pass a background check</li><li>Must be able to work in a drug-free workplace</li><li>Must be willing to submit to drug testing</li></ul>What Success Looks Like<ul><li>Route work is completed on time</li><li>Properties are left clean and sharp</li><li>Equipment is handled properly</li><li>Safety standards are followed every day</li><li>Issues are communicated quickly</li><li>Customer properties are treated with care and respect</li></ul>Preferred Traits<ul><li>Positive attitude</li><li>Coachable</li><li>Professional on customer sites</li><li>Safety-minded</li><li>Dependable and consistent</li></ul>Why Join Highland Lawn and Landscaping?At Highland Lawn and Landscaping, we believe people grow just like the landscapes we shape, when they&rsquo;re given real opportunity, real standards, and real leadership.
