We are seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our dynamic team and support our attorneys in delivering exceptional legal services.Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Family Law Paralegal with a minimum of 5 years of experience working exclusively in family law. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of family law procedures, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for supporting clients through sensitive legal matters. This role will involve working closely with attorneys to manage cases, prepare legal documents, and provide outstanding client service.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, affidavits, and settlement agreements related to family law cases (e.g., divorce, child custody, spousal support, and property division).</li><li>Gather relevant case information, including discovery</li><li>Manage case files, ensuring all documents are accurate, organized, and filed in compliance with court deadlines and procedures.</li><li>Communicate with clients to gather information, provide case updates, and address questions in a professional and empathetic manner.</li><li>Coordinate with courts, opposing counsel, and other parties to schedule hearings, mediations, and depositions.</li><li>Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and other materials for hearings and trials.</li><li>Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive client information in accordance with ethical and legal standards.</li><li>Assist with billing and timekeeping as needed.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience working exclusively in family law (required).</li><li>Paralegal certificate or degree from an accredited program preferred.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of Minnesota family law statutes, court rules, and procedures.</li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and empathetic demeanor.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management systems.</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.</li><li>Experience with Minnesota court e-filing systems.</li></ul>Preferred Skills:<ul><li>Familiarity with family law software (e.g., Clio, MyCase, or similar).</li><li>Notary Public certification is a plus.</li></ul>Why Join Us?<ul><li>Opportunity to work with a dedicated team of family law professionals in a supportive environment.</li><li>Competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off, etc.</li><li>Professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and career growth.</li><li>A meaningful role where you can make a difference in the lives of clients navigating challenging family law matters.</li></ul>How to Apply: Please submit your resume, cover letter, and three professional references to [insert contact email or application portal link].
