We are seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our dynamic team and support our attorneys in delivering exceptional legal services.

Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Family Law Paralegal with a minimum of 5 years of experience working exclusively in family law. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of family law procedures, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for supporting clients through sensitive legal matters. This role will involve working closely with attorneys to manage cases, prepare legal documents, and provide outstanding client service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, affidavits, and settlement agreements related to family law cases (e.g., divorce, child custody, spousal support, and property division).
• Gather relevant case information, including discovery
• Manage case files, ensuring all documents are accurate, organized, and filed in compliance with court deadlines and procedures.
• Communicate with clients to gather information, provide case updates, and address questions in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Coordinate with courts, opposing counsel, and other parties to schedule hearings, mediations, and depositions.
• Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and other materials for hearings and trials.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive client information in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
• Assist with billing and timekeeping as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience working exclusively in family law (required).
• Paralegal certificate or degree from an accredited program preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of Minnesota family law statutes, court rules, and procedures.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and empathetic demeanor.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
• Experience with Minnesota court e-filing systems.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with family law software (e.g., Clio, MyCase, or similar).
• Notary Public certification is a plus.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
