Part-Time Social Services Specialist

At Hillcrest Health & Living, we inspire people to live their best lives. We are seeking a Part-Time Social Services Specialist to support residents and families at Hillcrest Firethorn.
 This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meaningful resident interaction, structured case responsibilities, and being part of a collaborative care team — without the need for a social work degree.
 
What You’ll Do: 
<ul>
<li>Manage an assigned resident caseload</li>
<li>Support care planning and resident/family communication</li>
<li>Assist with transitions, documentation, and regulatory compliance</li>
<li>Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and leadership teams</li>
<li>Provide coverage support when the full-time Social Services team member is on PTO</li>
</ul>
Schedule & Flexibility: 
<ul>
<li>Monday–Friday, 5 hours per day</li>
<li>Hours may fluctuate slightly based on census</li>
</ul>
What We’re Looking For: 
<ul>
<li>Social Services Designee (SSD) preferred</li>
<li>CNA certification a plus</li>
<li>Experience in senior living, long-term care, or healthcare preferred</li>
<li>Strong communication and organizational skills</li>
<li>Compassionate, resident-centered mindset</li>
</ul>
Note: A social work degree is not required for this position.

 Server Pay: Starting at $15.00+ per hour, based on experience

Server Responsibilities
 Servers play a key role in creating a pleasant and respectful dining experience for our residents:
 <ul>
<li>Stock dining areas and supplies to par levels</li>
<li>Take food orders and deliver meals using a P.O.S. system</li>
<li>Clear, clean, and reset dining room tables</li>
<li>Maintain a clean, organized dining environment</li>
<li>Provide friendly, attentive service to residents and guests</li>
</ul>
