Part-Time Social Services Specialist

• Approximately 25 hours/week | Monday–Friday | 5 hours/day

At Hillcrest Health & Living, we inspire people to live their best lives. We are seeking a Part-Time Social Services Specialist to support residents and families at Hillcrest Firethorn.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meaningful resident interaction, structured case responsibilities, and being part of a collaborative care team — without the need for a social work degree.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage an assigned resident caseload
• Support care planning and resident/family communication
• Assist with transitions, documentation, and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and leadership teams
• Provide coverage support when the full-time Social Services team member is on PTO

Schedule & Flexibility:

• Monday–Friday, 5 hours per day
• Hours may fluctuate slightly based on census

What We’re Looking For:

• Social Services Designee (SSD) preferred
• CNA certification a plus
• Experience in senior living, long-term care, or healthcare preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Compassionate, resident-centered mindset

Note: A social work degree is not required for this position.
