The ideal candidate for this probate paralegal position will have:<ul><li>A minimum of three (3) years of experience with probate;</li><li>Knowledge of the probate process from start to finish;</li><li>Experience with wrongful death estates;</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills;</li><li>Maintain a professional and positive demeanor;</li><li>A high capacity to multi-task and remain organized;</li><li>The ability to complete tasks quickly and efficiently.</li></ul>The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:<ul><li>Preparation of pleadings and correspondence;</li><li>Communication with clients, referral sources, and other parties;</li><li>Filing of pleadings and recording/tracking time entries;</li><li>Coordinating telephone calls and hearings;</li><li>Scheduling appointments;</li><li>Performing various administrative work required to organize and maintain electronic files (copying, scanning, faxing, etc.)</li></ul>The firm offers a benefits package, including health/vision/dental insurance as well as a 401(k), following the completion of the applicable probationary periods.Compensation is based on experience.
