Job Title: IT Field Support Lead &ndash; West CoastLocation: 2355 E Camelback Rd Suite 850, Phoenix, AZ 85016 (On-site, 5 days/week) Travel: Regular travel to field offices and job sites. A personal vehicle is highly recommended. Industry: Construction &amp; Real Estate Compensation:<ul><li>$30&ndash;$40/hour during a 6-month contract evaluation period</li><li>Full-time offer post-evaluation: $90,000&ndash;$120,000 annual salary</li></ul>Position Overview:We&rsquo;re looking for a hands-on IT Field Support Lead to serve as the primary technical resource for our West Coast operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic, on-site environments and enjoys solving real-time issues across multiple locations. You&rsquo;ll be the face of IT for our field teams&mdash;delivering responsive support, managing hardware/software deployments, and ensuring seamless connectivity at construction sites and satellite offices.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Provide on-site technical support across West Coast locations, including job sites and field offices</li><li>Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues in real-world environments&mdash;often with limited infrastructure</li><li>Deploy, configure, and maintain laptops, mobile devices, printers, and networking equipment</li><li>Coordinate with local site managers to ensure IT readiness for new projects, relocations, and expansions</li><li>Track and report field support metrics, response times, and recurring issues to improve service delivery</li><li>Act as a liaison between field teams and central IT&mdash;translating technical needs into actionable solutions</li><li>Maintain inventory of IT assets across locations; ensure timely updates and replacements</li><li>Travel regularly to support remote teams, conduct site audits, and deliver hands-on assistance</li><li>Resolve escalated support tickets and mentor junior technicians when needed</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field</li><li>5+ years in IT support, with at least 2 years in field or remote site support</li><li>Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows, mobile devices, networking, and cloud-based tools</li><li>Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft MD-100/MD-101 are a plus</li><li>Familiarity with ITIL practices and service desk platforms (e.g., ServiceNow)</li><li>Excellent communication skills&mdash;able to support non-technical users in fast-paced environments</li><li>Self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage travel schedules effectively</li><li>Adaptable and resourceful&mdash;comfortable working in construction trailers, field offices, and corporate settings</li></ul>Job Type: Full-time, Contract Work Location: In person, with frequent travelJob Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hourWork Location: In person
